In the past different fixing elements on large scale walls out of plastic to affix seemed unsolvable and have been done by glue, screwing and riveting.

In the end production and in the industrial manufacture more and more high quality plastic plates with structure and high shiny surfaces are be used. Further applications are suitcase convexity in trucks and cars, advertising medium, interior paneling of rail-vehicles, aircraft construction, neon lights, dust free rooms, labors and medical technology. The latest named should be of great interest as to set-up a non through drill technique to realize an absolute density. This is the reason why FKS GmbH has developed a mobile friction welding module, which can be operated by hand. This hand-held welding torch works with the circular welding technique. During the welding process it is possible to adjust individual the oscillation amplitude, the oscillation direction and frequency in order to obtain safe and precious results. This development proves successful, as in the necessary process for large equipment technique, now, much smaller dimensions can be transferred on the hand equipment. Besides the use of the hand equipment the steering of the module in the handling technique is planed in robot and boarding systems.
